Basil Magnus b. 17 February 1888

Basil Magnus was a professional photographer in partnership with A. Goldenberg, Melbourne by 1913. They photographed an extensive list of Victorian buildings and carried out a portrait practice visiting client homes. In 1915, they published Melbourne: the Garden City of the South. Goldenberg enlisted in the AIF in 1915 which seems to have ended their partnership as Magnus & Goldenberg.
