painter, illuminator and engrosser, showed two chalk drawings, Memory and Religion, at the 1866 Melbourne Intercolonial Exhibition. An oil painting, Autumn, was shown in 1869 at both the Ballarat and Geelong Mechanics Institute exhibitions, along with an example of 'illuminated writing’ at the latter.
