Prolific sculptor and installation artist who studied under Lyndon Dadswell at the National Art School in the late 50's, early 1960s, Owen has exhibited both nationally and internationally and has been awarded a number of public commissions including sculptural installations for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, the New Commonwealth Law Courts in Melbourne (1998) and a public sculpture for the Nippon Exhibition Centre in Chiba, Japan.
