Born at Lurnpakurlangu (Mt Doreen) c.1937. He lived at Lajamanu. He was Warlpiri, and country Puyurru. His Dreamings were Ngapa (Water) and Yankirri. He worked with his wife, Elizabeth Ross Nungarrayi , and started painting in 1986.
