Painter who exhibited two oil paintings Richmond Bridge and Spring at Toodyay with the West Australian Society of Arts in 1949. Beattie also exhibited an oil painting, Brunswick Farm, with The Perth Society of Artists in 1952, although not a member. Beattie is presumed to be a Sunday painter.
