Mary Millicent Lamphee, born in Kensington Park, South Australia in 1904, was a South Australian artist active in the 1960s and 1970s. She held several exhibitions, including one at the Walkerville Gallery in 1963. Her works, often focusing on landscapes, often included churches in coastal locations like Goolwa and Parsons Beach. Lamphee's work has been sold at auctions in South Australia.

Description

The Fairview Private Art Collection is housed in a historic Queen Anne Federation villa located within Subiaco’s historic Chester’s estate and built in 1915 for John Kennedy, a Scottish Ice Engineer who ran the Perth Ice Works. The collection has a focus on South Australian and West Australian artists from the 1850s to present day. A 48-page illustrated catalogue was published.
