teacher, was reputedly teaching drawing at Sydney in 1841 when 7-year-old Mary Harriet Gedye was said to be among her pupils. She is listed in the Sydney Morning Herald 10 January 1844 as providing private lessons at the Hyde Park Seminary. A Sydney Morning Herald article 28 December 1846 states “Madame Romansson will be happy to give private lessons in French, Italian, Drawing and Painting at her own residence, No. 2, Liverpool-street, Hyde Park.”
