Gilda Gude was born at Ballarat in 1918. She studied at the Ballarat School of Mines Technical Art School during the 1930s and in 1937 was the recipient of a part MacRoberston Scholarship. Gilda was the younger sister of fellow painter Eleanor Gude.
Gilda Gude was born at Ballarat in 1918, the sister of fellow artist Eleanor Constance (Nornie) Gude . Studying at the Ballarat School of Mines Technical Art School in the 1930s, Gilda Gude won the MacRoberston Scholarship in 1937.
Gilda Gude’s work is represented in the National Gallery of Victoria and the University of Ballarat Art Collection.
