George H. Thomas

Colonial-era Victorian and Tasmanian caricaturist, Thomas was awarded damages of 15 shillings when the subject of one of his caricatures destroyed the illustration as it hung in a shop window. He is best known for the cartoons he drew for the Hobart Town Punch.
