Ernest William Christmas b. 28 January 1863

Ernest William Christmas, painter, was born in South Australia and moved to Western Australia in 1890s. An extensive traveler, he spent time in Western Australia, New Zealand, South America, England, the USA, and Hawaii. Christmas mainly painted landscapes featuring dramatic rivers at sunset and snow capped moutain peaks.
