Annette Dodd was born in 1954 and is a member of the Oak Valley community of South Australia. Oak Valley is approximately 1,250 kilmetres north-west of Adelaide that has close links to the Yalata, Tjuntjuntjara and Kanana communities of South Australia. Dodd works as the Supervisor of the Oak Valley Aged Care Facility. She exhibited her work, a painting, in the 2006 Our Mob exhibition at the Adelaide Festival Centre.
